How can you join us
The first meeting is FREE for visitors.
Membership in MOPS is open to all moms with children from infancy through kindergarten. To join, you'll need to submit an application and pay the $30.00 registration fee per year. $20.00 goes to MOPS International and $10.00 to our funds. Then it is $5.00 per member per meeting (scholarships are available, please contact our coordinator).
After joining MOPS you will be welcomed with a gift package with books, a child's DVD and other info. What do you do during a MOPS meeting?
At each of our meetings, our moms enjoy a chance to socialize while enjoying a delicious brunch. We have door prizes, too! After that, each meeting is different! At one meeting you might listen to a speaker who addresses a topic about the joys (or challenges!) of motherhood and then have time for small group discussions. At another meeting you’ll get to work on a craft, and at another meeting, you might get a massage as part of "Spa Day".
Our coordinator works to keep meetings interesting and informative while still giving moms plenty of what they tell us they need: time to interact with other moms. 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM.

MOPS at Gainesville First United Methodist Church
Our MOPS ministry meets once a month. We will meet every second Thursday at 9:30 AM-11:30 AM. We hold meetings during the school year (September through May) and many of our moms choose to get together informally for playgroups and summer activities, too.
